CDFG in it’s 9th Year has achieved commendable success in conducting various activities pertaining to propagation of “Digital India Mission” since it’s inception. It has established a wonderful connect with the IT Fraternity not only in Goa but across the States of India and the International IT Fraternity too. Keeping it’s objective of providing services that benefit the society, thanks to the large heartedness of it’s members, sacrificing their personal time from business, and making available to social objectives too, has met a favourable response from the Govt to support it’s intended objectives.
Commendable efforts to initiate the activity for the new season of 2024-25 started in August and having organised it’s AGBM to discuss and carry forward the good work done in the past, The organisation’s Secretary, Mr. Albert Furtado, Proprietor of AZONIC TECH SOLUTIONS, alongwith Mr. Venkatesh Babladi, Owner of Ramnet Solutions, Past President and Secretary, put all out efforts to organise G-TECH 3.0.
Day and night efforts were put in to put things together, and Mr. Albert Furtado took a decisive action to move forward. That was the spirit of the organisation, where there was always someone, who could fit in the shoes of their predecessor.
Well all the arduous task of organising the event was shouldered by the core committee, especially, Mr. Albert Furtado and Mr. Venkatesh Babladi of Ramnet Solutions, with commendable efforts put in by many hands including the likes of Mr. Yogesh Kerkar, MD of Qurious Mind, Mr. Pankaj Naik of IMS CAD Centre, Mr. Siddharth Naik of Shilpa Computers, Mr. Sanjay Chopra of Silicon Valley, Mr Hitesh Shah of Leo Space, Mr. Narayan of Nettech Solutions and Mr. Simon Fernandes of C-LIBZ. The President, Mr. Ricardo Ribeiro, of Digiwiz, stood by the team, despite his preoccupation, to ensure the success of the Expo.
CDFG decided to have it’s First Souvenir published on the occasion of G-TECH EXPO and this innovative idea proposed by the Secretary, Mr. Albert Furtado was welcomed by all. The task was indeed very arduous, but the dedication put in to make it a success was all thanks to him. Mr. Pankaj Naik, also got himself involved in assisting in the project. The Souvenir received encouraging messages from CM, Dr. Pramod Sawant, Shri Rohan Khaunte, Minister for IT and Tourism and Shri Chandrakant Shetye, ITG Chairman. The Souvenir also received articles and advertisements and published in Color in A4 format size. Elegance to attire was added with attractive blazers decorated with hand-created badges for CDFG Expo committee members made them look in every way thoroughly professional and business-oriented. Mr.Narayanan, co-ordinated with the designers and the members well in advance to ensure every committee had their blazers sewn in time. Registration to the event was planned in digital format via it’s website with every visitor registering being added to the CDFG Registration Database electronically and this procedure made the entry of the visitors to the venue in a very orderly manner.

Preliminary meets with the management of INSTITUTE MENEZES BRAGANZA HALL and then meetings with the Hon. IT Minister, Shri Rohan Khaunte at the Secretariat, Chairman of ITG Cell, Mr. Chandrakant Shetye, MLA Bicholim Constituency, Hon. MLA, Shri Sankalp Amonkar and finally with Hon. Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant provided the boost to proceed with the initiatives to organise G-TECH 3.0.
Interactions with Various heads of Brands from Goa, India and abroad were made to have exhibits of latest technologies covering all disciplines right from Robotics to Surveillance, Security, Modern gadgets, AI, Cloud Computing, Advanced Printing, etc. etc. and stress was also laid to have exhibits of Software Products too that could cater to all businesses. Several Audio-Visual and Data Communication Technologies to aid Educational institutions and Industry was also brought in to add value to the Tech Expo. Multi National Brands were roped in who exhibited high-end technological products and the response from the public was absolutely encouraging. All efforts were met with great success. Logistics related to organising the event was well planned and executed very well. Communication to the public via Press Meets, emails, hoardings, social media channels were driven across with maximum efforts and as the day approached, The G-Tech 3.0 was successfully put up on October 17, 18 & 19 with the show achieving huge success in all spheres. The event received Title Sponsorship from ESSL, an international brand dealing with Security and Biometric Related products. So also CDFG received encouraging brand partnership with Majestic Group as Hospitality Partner, Chandra Garments as Apparel Partner, Vertiv as Power and Cooling Partner and Indigo Music as Radio Partner. Mr. Suraj of Solsys Tech offered his expertise in managing the sound at the venue.


A grand formal inauguration of the event was held with Hon. Minister for IT and Tourism, Shri Rohan Khaunte and Chairman of ITG Cell, Shri Chandrakant Shetye, MLA, Bicholim Constituency, gracing the event and appreciating the CDFG Team for putting up a good show. The IT Minister and Chairman of ITG Cell expressed their support to CDFG for even bigger EXPO and shared their encouraging message to the Exhibitors and the large audience at the event.
The Dealers with their representatives had the opportunity to attend a Grand GALA Dinner hosted by CDFG and at the same time got themselves entertained in the late evening of 18th December, with the famous duo of Goa, Ryan and Nysa brought in to entertain the gathering belting out Western and Bollywood melodies. The participants had a great time and everyone got themselves into the groove with utmost cheer a grand blast for the evening. This was thanks to the surprise plan unfolded by the Secretary, Mr. Albert Furtado.
The Expo also highlighted the achievements of New Startups of Goa, showcasing their inventions and achievements at the Expo and their endeavours received large admiration from the attending public and Govt. Representatives

Mr. Yogesh Kerkar, made efforts, to arrange the business liasoning of the participating Exhibitors with Government officials to explore business opportunities for the Exhibitors in Goa. OSD to IT Minister, Mr. Neville, had a word with reps of exhibitors at the venue and took note of their expectations and the discussion had in person with many of the exhibitors, conveyed the willingness on the part of the Government to provide a boost to the objectives of the expo.
An inhouse Stall catering to the needs of the organisers, exhibitors and their teams’ with breakfast, lunch, tea, coffee and delicious bhel/shev puris received a word of praise from all.
Visitors at the expo expressed their admiration and well-wishes to the CDFG Team. The Exhibitors and their personnel were very happy at the professional conduct of the expo that provided them with all amenities making their 3 day stay at the event very memorable.
Mr. Sankalp Amonkar, Hon. MLA, Mormugao Constituency, alongwith OSD to CM, Mr. Manoj Patil, also a member of CDFG, made a visit to every stall, and kept noting on every stalls significant features. Mr. Sankalp Amonkar and Mr. Manoj Patil graced the closing ceremony of the Expo delivering their opinion the conduct of the expo and expressed that the expo now needed to be organised on a even larger scale, and at an even bigger venue stating their support to CDFG for G-TECH 4.0.
